APA is proud to join the Focus on Fall Abroad Community (FOFAC) program at our valued partner institution, George Washington University. Eligible GW FOFAC students who participate on a Fall Semester 2019 APA program will receive a $1,000 scholarship to offset pre-departure expenses such as flights and French student visa application fees.
According to GW Study Abroad, “After spending a fall semester abroad, students in FOFAC have the opportunity to live in a community with other GW study abroad students and international exchange students. The cultural immersion and international exposure students had abroad will continue upon return to DC, with exclusive activities and programs including embassy visits, international dinners, career panels, film screenings, and plays.”
“APA has always been dedicated to our long-standing partnership with GW,” said Lindsay Turlan, APA US Assistant Director. “Uniting with FOFAC is a natural next step and a way to reaffirm our commitment to serving motivated Colonials with high quality, immersive French and Francophone programs.”
GW students may apply for FOFAC through March 15, 2019.
