Overview Academics Support Housing Culture Dates & Fees Application

Overview

The artisanal traditions of the French are known the world over: learn firsthand the histories of these crafts and how makers and shopkeepers continue their legacy while rapidly improving your French language skills.

With renowned support from APA, the Gap Year program implements general and business French language study into the vibrant on-site, hands-on learning of the French savoir-faire, art history, and political science fields. Follow lessons at the Musée d’Orsay and take a field trip to a local parfumeur to learn how to craft a unique perfume scent. Authentic cultural experiences are the cornerstone of this immersive time abroad!

What will always stand out for me about my study abroad experience is my host family. I got to live with two of the kindest souls I've ever met, and they became like parents to me: when I left Paris, they told me that they had come to think of me as their adoptive daughter. Their family was such a great fit for me, and they will always be my fondest memory of Paris.
