Fall 2022 dates: September 14, 2022 – December 11th, 2022

The Spring 2022 term begins February 15th, 2022 and ends May 14, 2023.

The Paris: Gap Year Program includes the following:

Academics

  • Tuition fees for four courses
  • Fees for field trips and site visits
  • Customized, individual language support
  • Academic support: methodology sessions, proofreading sessions, advising

Culture

  • Visits and tours of Parisian neighborhoods during orientation
  • Four cultural events: theater, concert, dance
  • One day trip to Versailles
  • One weekend excursion to the Loire Valley
  • Carte Louvre museum pass

Housing

  • Homestay: with daily breakfast and choice of 5 or 3 dinners/week
  • Student Residence: with daily breakfast and 5 dinners/week
  • Linens and weekly laundry

Support

  • Airport pick-up upon arrival
  • Metro pass
  • On-site orientation
  • Pre-departure assistance
  • Civil liability insurance
  • On-site housing and logistical support

Program Fees

Tuition, Culture & Support for 2023-2034

Housing

  • Homestay Option 1: Daily breakfast, 5 dinners/week: to be confirmed
  • Homestay Option 2: Daily breakfast, 3 dinners/week: to be confirmed
  • Student Residence Option 1: Daily breakfast, 5 dinners/week: to be confirmed (to fluctuate depending on foyer chosen – based on location and single or double-occupancy room)

Payment Schedule

  • $500 deposit upon acceptance
  • Remaining balance must be paid in full by July 1 (for fall semester) or November 30 (for spring semester)

Out-of-Pocket Expenses

  • Round-trip flight to Paris
  • Passport
  • Medical insurance
  • Meals not included in board fees
  • Local transportation
  • Personal expenses and purchases such as personal travel, souvenirs, and entertainment
