APA’s Paris immersion program has been the core of our organization for over 30 years. Designed to achieve maximum fluency, the program for advanced and intermediate French speakers provides a rewarding and memorable experience by facilitating coursework in all fields of study within the Parisian university system.

To complement the academics, a rich cultural package filled with a variety of events and excursions expose students to the most compelling of French traditions.

Do you need supplemental language practice? Combine a fall semester with the Paris: August Short-Term program. The Intermediate French class has been specifically designed to prepare students for a full-time, academic course load in French. Bundle these programs for discounted short-term program fees.

The program offers a great deal of independence while still fostering a tight-knit community between the students and staff (especially through the group trips). My language skills improved a lot and I overall gained confidence and independence.
