Regretfully, French Antilles Summer 2020 will not take place due to conditions surrounding COVID-19.

Summer 2021 dates TBA.

For reference, the six-week program runs from May 22 – July 12, 2020.

The program with two-week extension runs from May 22 – July 26, 2020.

The APA French Antilles program includes the following:


  • Tuition fees for two courses
  • Academic support
  • Customized language support


  • Week-long orientation with teambuilding activities
  • 4 cultural events
  • 4 excursions: Fort-de-France, North Island, South Island, French island of Guadeloupe


  • Homestay private room
  • Meal plan: 7 breakfasts and 7 dinners per week
  • Weekly laundry


  • Airport pick-up on program start date
  • Pre-departure assistance
  • Civil liability insurance
  • On-site housing and logistical support

Two-Week Extension

  • Includes all of the above
  • Full room and board for additional two weeks
  • Independent study faculty member mentorship

Program Fees

  • 6 Weeks: $7,850
  • 2-week extension for independent study: $2,000

Payment Schedule

  • $500 deposit due upon acceptance
  • Remaining balance due April 1

Out-of-Pocket Expenses

  • Flight to and from Martinique
  • Passport
  • Student visa (if necessary for international students)
  • Medical insurance
  • Meals outside of board
  • Local transportation
  • Personal expenses and purchases such as personal travel, souvenirs, and entertainment
