A Franco-Arab Journey: Paris & Rabat

Experience two vibrant cultures, study intensive French and explore the shared history that connects France to North Africa in this 6-weeks summer program. Spend five weeks in Paris and one week in Rabat taking two complementary courses: an intensive French language class (beginner or intermediate level) and an English-taught seminar exploring the historical connections between France and North Africa. Learning extends beyond the classroom. Site visits in Paris and Rabat along with excursions to Marseille and Tangier and Casablanca enable students to witness firsthand the intersections of French and Maghrebi societies. Students are guaranteed full immersion by living in a student residence in Paris and staying with a host family in Morocco.
