Astou Sagna, Director

Responsible for all things academically related, Astou meets with students for academic support, coordinates with faculty, and ensures the well-being of all involved! She is a doctoral student in the French-speaking African Studies at the Department of Modern Letters at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar. Astou’s field of research concerns the journey of the female character in connection with the arts and the media in the French-speaking African novel.

Elisa Sambou, Program Assistant

Always seen with a smile on her face, Elisa oversees all aspects of daily life in Dakar including homestays and the cultural program. She received a Bachelor degree in International Management and a Masters in Project Management  from ISM Dakar. Elisa has been the Assistant of the International Relations Department at ISM Group since the end of 2019 and she is also into entrepreneurship, helping many young people start their projects.

Language & Academic Support

  • Introductory Wolof lessons: Learn the basics of this local language during weekly hour-long lessons
  • Tutoring: One-on-one sessions can be arranged, if needed
