Overview

Lively and captivating, the Senegalese capital city of Dakar is a blend of urban and rural: high rise buildings and dirt roads; traditional markets and European boutiques; seaside food stalls and trendy cafes. As students follow one English-taught course during the three-week short-term program, expert local professors lead their class in the classroom, throughout the city, and beyond as they discuss key concepts on-site and with leading local actors in their respective fields. Daily life is shared with a Senegalese host family and a variety of cultural activities have been curated that highlight the spirit of Dakar.
