Application Process & Deadlines
Apply online today for an upcoming semester abroad!
Your application consists of the following parts:
- Background information
- French language self-analysis
- Official transcript*
- University Approval
- 2 recommendation letters (1 from a French professor and 1 from your academic advisor or professor in your major's department)
- $35 non-refundable application fee and 2 passport-sized professional quality photographs with a white background.*
Once we’ve received it, you’ll be contacted for a telephone interview. Students are notified of admission on a rolling basis up until the deadline, so it pays to apply early!

Student Visa Application Process
Each student will need to apply for a student visa through their respective French consulate prior to going abroad. In order to do so, he/she must have a valid passport that will expire at least six months after the conclusion of the program. More information will be provided after acceptance into APA.
If you plan on attending Fall Semester 2017 or full Academic Year 2017-2018, we must receive all of your documents by:
→ March 15, 2017
If you plan on attending Spring Semester 2018, we must receive all of your documents by:
→ October 15, 2017
Applications received after the deadline will be considered according to space and availability.
